I've heard very good things about them. Too bad the emissions systems are holding them back. I hear the 565/2050 Performance motor is a monster.

 

Yeah but my N14 is a completely different animal than an ISX.

The company I’m leased to has several Volvos with ISX’s. They’ve had pretty good luck with them. We idle a LOT and ain’t good for em, but it’s part of the game here.

Haven’t had any of those fuel pump issues I hear so much about. Course ours are mostly early to mid 2000’s models, before the DPF stuff.

Going to try and make at least Big Timber, MT tomarrow. Not much but a restaurant with truck parking there but, that will do.

 

I bet it’d be even better without all that crap. I’m just kinda wondering how they’ll hold up over a million or so miles. Time will tell I guess.

 

The fuel pump issues were later single cam motors. I think 2007 and newer.
