Yeah, sorry, haven't been posting much lately, most everything I've had on the truck cannot be posted, you know, social media policy and we happen to have one driver that trolls this forum and loves to drop dimes.

Anyway, after this morning's fiasco in Chattanooga I'm parked till 10 PM tomorrow night when the state police will escort me the rest of the way to Savannah. Tennessee in thier infinite wisdom issued me a super-load permit for 24 through Chattanooga however they neglected to tell us about the scheduled construction that has 24 shut down to a single 10' lane till Monday morning. Thankfully I had a spotter pilot running 30 minutes ahead otherwise we would have wound up blocking the freeway while we waited on concrete to cure.

Now I'm in line at ChooChoo waiting on a truck wash but at the current rate of 1 truck every hour and a half I'm doubting I'll actually get to the wash bay before I have to roll tomorrow night. Don't remember this place being that bad but after having to park in dusty dirt lots where the megas think their being cool running wide open with the engine fan on I'm in need of a serious wash.

    I’m 95% sure it’s the pigtail connection.

It’s been doing what I call the “ABS flash” since I left Ft Worth. Every bump the ABS light will come on for the trailer...

Unfortunately, I literally don’t have any tools.

Will figure something out today... or just run the solar powered shift as much as I can...

Edit: the four ways and actual brake lights WORK. It’s just when you’re idle with the lights on... you only got the DOT. Frustrating really.

A dime might work for spreading the pins then. The ABSflash is the pigtail losing connection momentarily, you can wedge some paper underneath the pigtail to stop that from happening, just raise the plug up to where it’s wedged in there. Make it small enough so DOT doesn’t see it.

The B that's in my red truck pulls harder down low than any B model I have ever owned bar mone including my 359. From 12 to 14 it has a deep smooth roar lmao. Pyro stays at 900. That said I won't run it there. That's the fastest way to a early sunken liner. You can tear an engine down and see how it's been driven. Most of the time failure analysis is what leads to a denied warranty claim. Most dont understand it so they cry because it was serviced and in miles and time of the warranty. Later stuff claims to be designed to pull down. I know Acerts have more liner issues than E models. I know Cummins is still fretting liners too. I always look at speed at the top of the hill. 1300 in 13th with high boost and exhaust temps or 1550 in 12th letting a lot more air through both the same ground speed.

Exactly what I do. My N14 pulls decent down to 1200, but the pyro says no, especially on hot days. She pulls best from 1400-1600, so that’s where I try to keep it unless I’m just rolling in the flats, and that’s rare. Lol.

So that means if I’m tryin to run legal on these Oklahoma 2-lanes, no big hole. 65 in 12th is 1500 or so. May burn a little more fuel but the temps are much better and she’s not lugging on every little hill.
