The situation at the mill doesn't look any better today. Currently four of us sitting here being used for storage and the broker I'm running for should be rolling in with another shortly.

Well I was on the couch content with doing nothing. I am pretty tired but have suffered a fair amount of abuse. Like an idiot I'm gonna load cotton seed meal for Aledo TX early tom o row then load sand in Ft Worth for enid. Deadhead to mill Creek load sand for the same place in Ft Worth I'm loading originally. Dump reload do it again. Wtf is wrong with people. Do they not know that mill Creek is closer to Enid and leaves that ####### child ft worth out of it

I put myself in the same boat on working tomorrow. I ran my arse off all week....go home tonight, change oil...grease truck trailer. Roll this this thing again all day tomarrow.

I would call it being greedy, but the machine shop has a bill waiting for me to pay so it ain't like I get to keep tomarrows money.

Sat at the mill all day. Didn't have enough on the clock to run another but there was enough to get to the house. So instead of running one tomorrow like I'd planned I guess I'll do two cause that what I said I'd get done.

Enjoying the last good drunk in this house. Moving tomorrow to a nicer area just south of town. Gonna miss this house in a way.

I'll be the first to tell you that there's not a whole lot of sense-makin' goin' on in the oilfield.

I've been on jobs before where the hoppers were bringing sand from one plant to the plant we were loading sand cans at. They roll in, unload into a rail car, then we roll in, they spin the conveyor around and load it on us. Now, why not just have us load it where the hoppers are loading it?

I think it's a money deal. This way, this sand plant gets to not only charge for unloading/loading it, but also for storage, since it went into rail car at their terminal.
