They're predicting another 1/4-1/2" of rain tonight, and snow/ice Saturday and Sunday. :(

Home: Only got 4 inches of rain and a lot of wind. Very happy with that just may not have power for three days. Then started looking for that power cord hug in an odd place. I don't know, wasn't me, ain't seen it.
I learned this during Katrina and OSHA was not there. Strip about two inches off of the wire and bend it in a 180. Put that in the correct generator plugs and there you go. Past that it gets complicated switching power around and having a well. We have all had a hot shower and ran water for the large animals. Even have internet access.
Hope how to do that helps someone else. KIMG1219(1).jpeg

Loaded, tarped and rolled outta Camp Harrow after just about 6 hours. Not great but not horrible.

If I get good traffic tomorrow morning and put the hammer down, I should make Hearst. If I can make Hearst, I should be able to make it home. If not, it'll be a short jaunt on Sunday.

Once I stopped here in Tilbury at the ONroute the fatigue hit me like a ton of bricks. Getting sideways then getting rolling as soon as the clock rolls over 8 hours in sleeper.

Switched my chicken lights over to led bulbs today. In six months I have already replaced every 1157 bulb 3 times. Very similar look but hopefully less upkeep.

Helped install and wire some strobes in the back of a new double drop today at the yard. The mechanic also fixed my RGN ramp that I tore off last week. That’s what I get for pulling a flatbed.

Unfortunately I got to meet one of the new mouth breathers today. He’s an old timer. Been driving since the 80’s.

He was picking up a pre loaded step deck that was parked next to me in the shop. Two stacks of trailer axles already strapped down. One stack on the front deck that needed to be strapped after we moved it. We added a stack of 12’ long crates of Different heights but in one stack that had to be tarped.

He got there around 9:30 and pulled out at 4pm. 6 straps and one tarp that two guys helped him with.

    Another quality new hire.

(no tail lights) at all!! Now waiting on a fork lift to clear the road. Get a load of gold dust on my mule and head to Dunkirk.
