That 680 has an automatic in it. I disliked it very much. I’m glad to be back with an 18 speed.

I was on a “regional run” from Wichita to Ontario Canada. Delivered ~3k pounds of aluminum sheets every week to arnprior, on and we would fill the truck out with other cut aluminum and extrusions going to Ontario. I usually had 3-6 stops every week. Then I would bounce back to the states and pick up a back haul. Usually aluminum plate to Wichita. For a legal freight only run it was great. 3500 miles and a reset at home every week.

Power can be fixed, coolness is harder to come by.

All the new trucks are in. A couple still need lettering. I’m glad I don’t have to drive one of them autos

Those new trucks look better in mid roof configuration for sure though.

 

Just needs vertical stacks and the aero fairings gone

Got some new engine stickers in the mail yesterday. Some might say it sure looks and runs like a 7CZ...but the new stickers say its a 2WS built in 1999.
