    Elevator, midwest style!!:D

At one time, the longest elevator in the world. They have bicycles to ride from one end to the other up top.

Who has the longest grain elevator in the world? It's not Hutchinson, Kansas

Yeah, I was just needling you. I hadn't left the confine of my residence for the last two days because I feel like I'm in a Police State. Maybe it's just my opinion but this morning I was only about 3 minutes away from the driveway and Bam ! There they were right on top of my bumper. The only car in view behind me and it was the local police department. They are okay from what I know but the local Sheriffs make me nervous with the way they look/act/operate. This is a small town of just under 4000 people and having no fewer than 8 police vehicles on patrol on a Saturday night strikes me as excessive. Especially when I personally witnessed the 5 sheriffs line up and park in the back ( in unison. Like a military ballet maneuver. ) of the Waffle House. Proper procedure would be for them to take turns or at least split up into a group of three or two from what I've seen everywhere else I've been. This isn't a dangerous community. But the way the Sheriffs operate it sure makes me feel unsafe. From Them. Not the local population. Jmo.

Not good when the cops get behind you and instead of safer you feel nervous- and ain’t done anything wrong.

9/10 if I’m home and sheriff is tailing me it’s one of my girlies buddies getting ready to #### with me...

1/10 I have a light out and that’s worth a civil service ticket. Thank you, officer.

The joys of dating a paramedic. Everyone from Fire to Police knows your #### truck.

45 years ago I got effed with by the local cops a lot. I had it coming. They still eff with me and I don't have it coming. When I was leased to Sprinter my normal routine was pulling in around 2-3 on Saturday morning. I have lost track of the times I was pulled over driving home in my old 560,000 mile Toyota (that shows every mile) for some BS reason and given a sobriety test. I finally started telling the cops that they had to write me for whatever BS pretext they stopped me for or I would be at the PD Monday morning, with my lawyer, complaining to their boss. I did write a letter to the Police Chief finally.

I'm thinking about getting some bumper stickers made that say "I Love My Country - I HATE THE GOVERNMENT"

    Hwy 175 Truck Wreck.jpg
    Wednesday.

According to the California Highway Patrol, a Lodi man named Christopher Cortez was driving a Peterbilt truck and trailer with a load of plywood westbound on Hwy. 175 around 1:30 p.m. Oct. 11 near a construction zone at mile marker 8.86.

According to the CHP, there were several signs warning Cortez that vehicles longer than 39-feet were prohibited, but “he failed to obey them (and) due to the overall length of his vehicle, Cortez was unable to negotiate the turn in the roadway, causing the vehicle to roll down the embankment.”

Cortez, the solo occupant of the vehicle, was not injured. The CHP is investigating the collision, but neither alcohol nor drugs are believed to have been contributing factors.

No alcohol or drugs, just a double shop of stupid
