Where you at in Savannah? We rolled in this afternoon with 2 16' wide wings we're unloading in the morning then my pilots drove 2 blocks and picked up @kylefitzy with a 16 wide going back to Oklahoma I think. I'm parked at the new Circle K over by the port.

Oh, no way in $$$$ we'd pull a set of wings into ANY truckstop in this area, they are safely dropped at the customer.

I wouldn’t trust my ol’ hoopty in a Savannah parking lot

I figured you either weren’t OD or you had a trick up your sleeve ;)

Yeah, in time you'll learn Savannah, for our main customer here we drop all loaded ODs at one of thier properties, for anything else we have a sister companies yard we use however it's not too good for OD. We also all have different hiding spots around town and the Circle K isn't my normal however it was shift change at the customer after we dropped and the Circle K was the "least traffic" place to get at.

It is nothing special to look at. After I bought it I found out it belonged to an outfit row cropping about 8,000 acres. It had been set up with duels and lots of weight. It will not blow smoke like the one in the picture or even get up to the 540 PTO mark. However I am sure it has in its previous life. Repairs this year were a rear axle shaft bearing and brakes while we were there. Some new hydraulic remotes, hoses and fuel sending unit. The regular change the air in the tires and such.
The point was it is a shame we cannot buy trucks 80% this good today.
Todays pictures would be a 9 spd Spicers guts, Hino piston with a hole in it, square bales and a stack wagon from 1970.
This is a very active forum and I probably do not really belong. My largest flat bed is a 28' ten wheeler and I was drawn in here searching securing concrete barriers. I will just thank everyone and bow out. Nice pictures JD and DougA. I will add this picture of a trucker that carriers serious securement. KIMG0486(1).jpeg

Unloaded, drove to Chicago, got in as soon as I got there, then out to Lake Station, IN. Never would have expected that.
