Over in another thread I beat on him mercilessly. Almost religiously. He keeps coming back so I guess he enjoys it. Heck, for that matter I beat up everybody over there. They all get some shots in too.

    I was being sarcastic.
I've been known to be that on occasion.
    Usually only when I'm breathing.

Grandpa bought that tractor new in 1974. It was used on the pull type combine and the 28' hoe drills back in its day. Today it just runs the grain augers and rock picker.

In the fall of 2003 it started to use oil and had a lot of blowby. We split the tractor in our shop and rebuilt the engine. It turned out that a couple pistons were cracked.

Edited for brevity. And to totally twist the meaning. Mainly the twisting part.
So you are saying Heck no, you won't forgive me for inviting him ?
    That's okay. I understand. I can't forgive myself either.

Alright, school me here. Why do ya have one strap then two chains on each set? What does each set weigh?

I heard they was puttin in a new mine at Fay, but I haven’t seen it yet. There’s already a plant at Thomas, and two new mines going in between Thomas and Seiling. Feel sorry for the good folks that live in the area. I wouldn’t want what they’re fixin to have.

Which direction ya headed after you unload? I’ve gotta run to OKC today to KW for a step and bumper bracket, then to Bells and Whistles for a bumper, then back to Elk City. I gladly buy dinner and show ya around if you’re coming through.

Front set is about 15,000 lbs, and rear set is about 10,000 lbs.

I always belly wrap in the middle, and use a chain across at least on one end. If it was heavier I would have used all chains. Chain will bite in but a strap won't. I have used straps on both ends and chain in the middle, and noticed movement during a 500 mile ride, so a chain on one end always. 2 chains would have worked here, one on each end but.....

Couple years ago a driver pulled a load out like what I will be bringing back, 9 miles down the road at exit 7 on I-64 he lost his load in a curve. One section went over the bridge and hit a motorcycle passing by, killed the woman instantly and nearly killed the man.

Put my last load out at West Plains. Think I'm get flat till morning then roll on in

Talkin bout Lima I go in there quite a bit when I'm pulling my hopper. I take screenings up there to a sorta protein place. Mostly hog feed type stuff. They are in a old factory behind a small little fuel stop with a daycare? In the same parkin lot.
