Had a jake brake gasket starting to leak a little which I despise, so I'm replacing all 3 with new gaskets. Going to go ahead and adjust everything while I'm in there too. Just a little upkeep while I'm at the house for a few days. Bought new bearings / races / seals for the front axle as well, along with new shoes and drums. That will leave only the transmission & diff's that I haven't had apart and rebuilt or replaced. Last time I had the front jacked up I heard a little noise in the left front, I could tell the bearings were getting rough. Do it now before the snow flies ;).

That Fass working alright for you?

I’m planning on putting one of those on my pickup. The idea of Mopar charging $80 for fuel filters AND nobody else selling them makes my blood pressure spike whenever I think about it.

I appreciate that. That definitely looks like my fuel filter.

Only problem is my truck has a separate fuel/water separator, and that is another $80. :banghead:

That’s why I’ve been looking into a FASS. You can get screw-ons with the same micron rating at Grainger for 10 bucks.

    Oxbow and Feedman Thank this.

I like the Fass a lot better than air dog. It's the only snake oil product I did feel improvement with immediately on the pedal and the pump side of things

Yeah I bought the frame filters cheaper somewhere too. I'll have to look it up where I bought them. The problem with putting on a fass and bypassing the other filters is if you have a fuel related problem ram probably won't cover it under the warrenty.

EDIT; ROCK auto has the frame mounted filters for around $50 also.
