I like to focus on the positives. 1. He really gave it the college try. 2. Someone was nice enough to film it. 3. He moved all the broken plastic out of the road. 4. If you’re gonna get fired, make it worth it.
It’s a shame he didn’t have the confidence to stop and back into that wide spot in the road and turn around.

........mmmmmmmmmm, nope.
This guy is a moron. He SHOULDNT hold a license, period.
Driving down a wrong way to make a maneuver quickly or because you’re 6493959 axles and a billion feet long... yeah you kinda need all the road. That’s not who we’re talking about here. But, driving down the wrong way on an interstate and having the audacity to keep going instead of pushing the four ways and putting together a plan B?
How long do you think it took moron to figure it out? He must’ve passed all the “wrong way” signs and just kept on trucking “pfft, idiots, those signs aren’t meant for me.”
This is right up there with the bloke that posted recently about losing his job because he “forgot” to set his tractor brakes. How in the #### do you forget that?! Were you on drugs? Were you picking your nose?!
I get that mistakes happen... that’s cool n all. But realize those mistakes may cost you your job, your career, or at worst someone ELSES life. I’d prefer the industry to have a no tolerance for this sort of bull crap. Yank their Class A forever.
Morons like this are a danger to everyone. Go flip burgers for all I care.
You know what’s even worse? Truck doesn’t look like a Werner truck. Might be one of their lease operators.
Good grief.
You’d be saying hello to the inside of a jail cell if I was @shogun and witnessed this bull crap.1951 ford, peterbilt_2005, BigBob410 and 14 others Thank this. -
Panic mode took over, perhaps.

That’s the “hurry up and get this to an exit and get off the highway before I get a ticket” mind frame. He thinks he is good enough to avoid a collision and make it happen, so he continues with the risky behavior.
-
Probably so. He probably hit the bridge with his roof fairing to start. Then lacking spatial awareness, tried the second approach. He went from a suspension and probably losing out some bonus money to thousands upon thousands of dollars worth of damage and a next career stop at CR England.
-
Couldn’t happen to a nicer company than CR England.

@stwik I am also of the opinion that he should Never hold a CDL again. However if the Court investigates it might be possible to educate him to the point where he could hold a Regular driver license. Certainly not a CDL though.

Took a right onto the interstate where the sign said "no right turns". Mixed the correct on-ramp, and was following his GPS most likely. Nobody can be that stupid, can they?1951 ford, SAR, jamespmack and 12 others Thank this.

Evidently stranger things have happened.

Never watched survivor, but that makes sense. It's a loser show, based on a loser premise. Losers band together to take out the strong and capable and then slowly cut each other's throat until 1 loser survives. The crab mentality. This is our world in a nutshell. Kill the strong and live a horrible existence surrounded by weaklings. But what would happen if instead, one of the weaklings decided to ally himself with the strongest?1951 ford, SAR, jamespmack and 14 others Thank this.
