Got the first stop delivered. 2 hours to second stop with a 9 am appointment.

Good because it was originally set up as the first stop with a 9 am. So I’ll be way ahead of the game tomorrow.

    Where'd ya deliver??

Did ya get thru the fire on 35 down at the border. They said it was still shutdown this morning.

Truck rammed a baricade and pushed it in the other lane and caught on fire...truck coming the other way rammed it and flipped.

That soybean dust is bad on my eyes also. I wear contacts and it raises hell with them. If your already having trouble with your eyes I would try to stay out of that stuff.

You don't see much of those heads up here anymore. They had so many moving parts and once things wear out it was costly to keep them up. They were called all crop headers and you could combine soybeans, sunflowers, and corn. When you did corn you were taking in so much trash that you got a lot of foreign material in the hopper. We just run a corn head now.

We do have a couple homemade 12 row all crop heads that each one is made out of two 6 row heads. You can buy a special 30 foot platform that the row units bolt up to, giving you a 12 row head. We use them only for sunflowers. John Deere did sell 4, 6, 8 and 12 row all crop heads back in the day.

Oh was that what that mess was?

Only thing left was a swift truck in the south bound ditch on its side getting unloaded from the frontage road. It was in the construction zone so north and south were sharing the south lanes with a baracade. Swift looked ok other than the lay over. What ever happened northbound was a mess although cleaned up other than the charing on the road.

Delivered stadium seating to the HS in Adel, IA. The rest is going the the school in Rockford IA.

The guy I knew that had one just used it for beans.

The old fella out here running the combine now has always ran a platform. One of the few people I look up to in this world. Still today can out work most anyone.
