His wedges fell out so they are only being held on by the chains force. One good turn and they are hitting each other or coming off the trailer.

I’ve hauled open deck, albeit limited, and I know better than that.

 

Seen him haul 2 loads that way.... just to many things can go wrong on 30 some miles of 4 lane.

 

No Sir the hand rail place is in NY which is part of the mother plant, which is where I was in this picture. In Huntington, WV.

 

These are Nickel and weigh 9 to 11,000 lbs each.

Had a place loading high end bar in 3k packages 4 wide and only 5-6 foot long. They had the first 4 on by the time I got out of office. I asked why the space in the middle? They said " its a 5 ton crane". " can only pick up 2 at a time". "it comes in here like that". I stopped them. First this is a billion dollar building and only a 5 ton crane? Plus I dont care how it comes in. You will put blocks in between them. Your a actual crane operator? He told me yes and makes 80k a year. Well I said I own that truck, trailer and name on the door. There is 20 plus loads to move, you do it my way or take it off. Im only 100 miles from the house sir. The week and a half went well.
