Where is everyone #5

I was coming through Lousiville, Miss Wednesday and passed a 389 pulling a 7 axle RGN with a Taylor Forklift body on it. No wheels, no forks, strictly the body. I went to Sudden Service(Taylor) in Philadelphia Miss yesterday and asked a manager what one of those weighs. He said they have some with 40k counter weights alone.

I googled them and they have forklifts with up to 125k load capacity. That’s incredible.

 

Made it to the the ramblin roost. Steak an eggs here we come

 

That just got added to my menu.

 

Been loaded by a few of those in Houston pipeyards...

I bet it’s like driving a bloody tank without the weapons of mass destruction...

 

The ball bearings were completely gone and the locking collar that's on the shaft was running on the outer race of the bearing.

The new bearings come complete with the 4 bolt flange and locking collar.

 

C'mon now I know your menu is just like mine. See food!!!!!!!

I knew you were. I'm thinking I better go up there and grease it more often in the future. It really should not of failed unless its getting too much preload on it.
