We just bought a new Kenworth with a Stellar bed, it has a 14,000 pound crane I think. It’ll be our first Stellar so it’ll be interesting. One of our old mechanics is working for an independent mechanic company, his new truck has a bed made by Service truck international I think, it’s probably the nicest bed I’ve ever seen.

Right Doug. I been in that situation on my 3406B to where welding to a stud and drawing it out with several washers and heat just wouldn't cut it, so drilling was the last option, which sucks.

I ended up make my own jig outta spare scrap I had laying around. It was sorta like the one Cat makes but alot cheaper lol...poor folk got poor ways. I've used it on a few other occasions. It's simple, but effective.
