I shoulda posted the 2 other little guides that slip down into that welded guide sleeve. I have one really small so you can use a small bit starting out, then a thin wall sleeve to step up a couple bit sizes.

@SAR , the sleeve you see welded in there is an old 3406 exhaust manifold stud spacer I put in there. Its thick wall and just bout the right length... and its cheap. I heated it cherry red with a torch and shocked it with water and made it super hard. Same with the little sleeves I made to fit inside it. Prolly could made one a little better, but I was in a hurry.

    Eek. No thanks.

I’ve watched those hot dog contest videos... sheesh. There ain’t no way, man.

Like how can a man eat 74 hot dogs and live to tell about it?

Ahhh come on now JD, wheres you sense of adventure?

Wheres your sense of adventure when it's a Sunday evening, bout 7 PM and your still at home in your shop with a load on your wagon that's got an 8 am appointment in Mexico, MO and its gotta go? LOL

Like Ronnie Millsap said in his song, "there wont be no sleep for me tonight....."

He left out that part where he said it sucked

“You see it’s not worth reporting to insurance...”

Yeah man I’m sure the city of El Centro will be delighted to know why their stop sign is bent.

    “Nah man it ain’t nothing...”

Sure wish I had you with me when I hit that poor illegal driving Mexican in Houston months ago, buddey. Would’ve saved me 180 bucks and a #### stain on my driving record...

Had a B or C years ago in a cabover IH that one of my great guys on night shift broke eazy-out off in top number one. Tried and tried, end up drilling 4 tiny reliefs in all 4 corners, got everything out, then over sized it for a insert, filled holes with JB weld and set the insert. That old pile of junk stayed together till it went to the scrap yard years later. It was a scrap hauler, you can imagine the condition. Last one was a N14 that they rusted off. Two worked with the welder trick. Then I broke a drill bit in one. Dremel, Cleaned it out and saved the threads. That was slow. But it worked.
