    Let’s trade.

You come over here to Compton and hold your breath all night because you don’t want a parking ticket...

And I’ll eat supper at Nelson Bros and send you pictures.

    :confused:o_O

I can’t get outta California fast enough.

You’d think, but unfortunately not every company seems to see it that way. The ones that don’t prefer not to promote to management from within because experience in the trenches would cause that person to not spew the preferred company propaganda at all times, unlike some yahoo from the outside being trained for the position.

When I was the age of 13 Dad walked me through a full tuneup of a 57 Chev 1/2 ton 6 cylinder (plugs, points, timing and valve set). He stood back and watched and coached, never touching a tool.
At 16 I was race tuning for my best friend and rebuilding (inframe) small block Chevys for friends in our dirt floored garage in the back yard.
At 17 I was hauling liquid asphalt across town with a 1953 IHC single axle cab forward tractor and a tandem trailer from April to November 5 1/2 days per week. Dad took me down to the shop one Saturday afternoon and put me to work rebuilding a Cummins 250 in a Freightliner COE for the same guy that owned the IHC. He was rebuilding a 270 right beside me and did the final torques on "mine". my boss handed the keys to "my" Freightliner on my birthday after I came back to the office after passing my "chauffeurs licence".
