Well I pulled my 3406B had the block decked and line bored. Went back with a MXS crank and rods with 15.9:1 industrial pistons with some dome work done on them. Aftermarket cam for better low end and a set nozzles that are extruded honed and matched. Pulled the compound set up off my big motor and put on this one. It has a lot deeper tone than it once did. B's are known for soft Jake's not mine at least any more. It sure barks when you hit them now. So far it seems to sure do that deal

That's the second deer I've hit this week. Wednesday I sped up enough it hit the drives....this one was with the bumper. That's the second one I've hit with this bumper and still no damage. Both have left hair on the mount bolts.

    Colossal failure.

Ordered a Amzoil 2 micron bypass filter and figured I'd install it today. I haven't had to touch my truck for 2 months. Not even add any oil. Truck was due for a service anyway.

Got to the shop and owner had a truck in the shop with a bolt in the tire. So I pulled and patched the tire. The shop heater wasn't working and I found a bird nest in the vent pipe. About 2' in. Of course it's 20' up on the side of the outside of the shop. Run to ace for a coupler and bird screen. All fixed up now.

Went to pull the pressurized oil plug and striped the head. Figured the plug under it was oil too? Nope..... water...... tried to run the plug in and immediately felt I striped or gauled the threads.

So off to town to try and find the right fittings to do the install and get a metric tap to try and save the threads. Back to shop and drop all the antifreeze. Chased and cleaned the threads. Saved it but the fittings I got won't work. So put it all back together, finished changing the oil and grease job.

Well at least I got the oil changed? Only took me 12 hours.
