@ShooterK2 saw this truck the other day and got a picture because of his tailgate modification. Like you mentioned most have custom-built bed but he did it a little different. He has his welder in front of his 5th wheel along with his Pipeliner mud flaps, lol.

This is why I hate Freightliners and what they’ve done to the new Paccar products. Just plain cheap, this Freightliner has 106,000 miles on it, those Columbia’s I hauled milk with were the same way. Dashes shake apart, squeaks everywhere, thus one when you turn on the turn signal the wipers come on. Junk.

 

Just a couple slow downs for construction south of the 64 split. Not bad just eased on through. Lots of construction north of Charleston. Miles and miles of barrels anyways, didn't see much construction goin' on.

 

Appreciate it, from everyone. It's rare that he calls me (he is 17 after all), so he's pretty stoked.

He's always been good working with his hands, I'm hoping to see him start his own fabrication shop. Maybe I'll get some pics of some of the stuff he's made when I get home?

I really admire the fab guys. That’s one thing I wasn’t blessed with. I’ve got a couple of buddies that can build anything you can dream up.

 

Anybody using Shell Spirax oil in their trans/diffs? Opinions?

 

I did till the local guy jacked the price! Nothing exciting to say or not say. Shell makes good products. Most gear oil that meets your specs will be fine.

 

Yes sir, in the diffs 75-90 I also use the shell tellus hydraulic oil in my wetline

 

When you stop later than usual for breakfast there’s a different crowd out lol
