U can't wear that Flammable Wig On Duty?

 

Funny you ask about that. I got that as a joke a 6 or 7 years ago. We had gone to the FD offices for a meeting and I was dared to wear it in there. Something about "No hair on your ### if you don't". Not being one to back down from a challenge, I wore it in. We walked past the Chief's office and heard "What the ####?" I went back and told him I was trying something new. 2 weeks later, a new SOP came out regarding wigs in our appearance standard. Now it does need to be a natural hair color and needs to be cut in a professional style. To this day, it's still in there.

 

We've been loading about 23 miles south of Evanston. Got two today. One out to the desert in UT at Aragonite and the second went to Oxbow territory at Arimo. We'll see where they're going again in the morning.

You know...

I didn’t even know it was Halloween until I walked into the TA in Redding saw two grown females old enough to be my mother wearing a skimpy bunny and cat outfit....... and about lost my lunch in the men’s restroom.

These weren’t TA employees, mind you, just four wheelers in the store...

My tea and pasta from lunch almost fell into the sink.

 

@stwik if I was president my first executive order would be to eliminate Halloween. Then Valentine's Day.

 

I would have said it is my natural color, I just bleach my mustache

 

Earth Day would be first on my list...
