Yes, mostly. It's still at the Cat house, but I'm out of town and don't have time right now to put it back in the truck.
It's a 4mg, and they have put new cylinder packs in and reman head on her.
The injection pump is sitting in my shop and I need to get a new turbo for it, but other than that it's ready with the retarder re-sealed.
Crank, cam, front end were all good. The head was okay, but I thought it would be worth it to start fresh with that.
I am real happy with the turbo that is on our other 4mg; it is a waste gated BW 177148 that fits an E model I think. I will probably get another of those unless I find out about something better.

Anyway, it'll probably be this winter before I get it going.

I hope harvest is going well for you SAR!

Its hard to explain that gut feeling that says load the wagon yout fine get a load or I better teeter on the side of caution. A bigger trailer without more axles is just too risky for me

They raise my tare weight too much for hauling by products. Its pretty standard that 25 ton is a truck load of say cotton seed meal, etc. With a 48 spread 66" side timpte Im at 31500 tare

Sounds like you'll have an engine that'll last you a long time when you get her in.

Harvest is going good. The weather has been really good for us to make some progress . We are happy with the bushels were getting off the fields considering how dry we were.

I'm one of the few around these parts who's truck is a regular cab.

I don't need the extra room, or weight.

Merritt and cornhusker will blow the sides out quickly lol. I have seen the sure nuff older Wilson's split. The all aluminum ones. Course several old flat bottom trailers. Its just something that is always in the back of my mind.

Im trying a Wilson out this time. I miss my fold down ladder in rear but so far I really like it

    I'll bet it's strong.

The Germans take their beer warm too. I'm not sure I could drink it like that.

Know what U mean, I went with longer Trailers riding on 3 axles but when it's all said and done the Payload was comparable

Plus U got 6 more feet up in the Air which was problematic to us several times

I bought a 2015 Stoughton hopper last winter. 42' not sure on the height. Like 68" maybe?
She's got a lot more flex in it than I'm used to at 80k. I'm kinda nervous what it'll look like this fall in the mid/upper 90's.
Quite a few of them running around here and so far everybody's been happy with them.
Personally I feel the 18 year old 42' 78" timpte I had was a lot tougher trailer.
