So it not just me. I only use load boards about 50%. My god the loads and rates have dropped.

 

Guy comes up to me while walking across the TA parking lot...

“I need gas money though. Can you spare like two dollars?”

I don’t know what type of gas he was planning on trying to buy with 2 dollars but I’ve stopped trying to understand people in this liberal paradise.

“Sorry, I don’t carry cash.”

(Got a few 20’s in my wallet but it’s not your lucky Monday guy, keep stepping).

New truck for the week. No word on mine yet, shop buddy thinks it might have blown her head gasket. Apparently they weren't expecting me to run that truck as long as I did, lol. I like older equipment, sue me.



Running a load of phosphate to Moosomin, SK, then (if they can take it all) up to Faulkner, MB for my load of lime going out to Williston, ND.

If they can't take all 24MT's, I may get to stay the night in Brandon and unload at their other facility in the morning (fun times to be had by all).
