When people that mean so much to us, and it's kind of an unspoken thing, gift something that to most people would draw a "thank you" or, "I appreciate it", it means so much more, especially coming from someone you look up to or would consider a mentor.

He must think as much of you as you do about him, says a lot about both of you.

I met my father in law for the first time in 2001 at a wedding dance. He bought me a ticket to win the garder belt (I think that's what its called), and we've always got along great. He has lots of old stuff, and we always talk about old equipment. I'll miss him when hes gone.

 

Hopefully that's a loonnnngg ways down the road then.
