Thing is trucks run 65+ mph all the time. If you're running the speed limit or some approximation thereof, you're likely to get run over.

Have you seen this monstrosity?

 

I think about it everyday, it's pullin the trigger that's the hard part, lol. I've had a couple of events the past few months that have kind of changed things as far as retiring from this job at this time.

Actually, I'm in a new section now and so far it's working out pretty good so we'll see how it goes. In the big scheme of things I've got it pretty good and I'm not getting any younger so there's that to to think about too.

 

Well day 3 not running the truck. Rates are low enough I won't be hauling and adding to the problem. I'm not cheap nor do I work cheap. More than happy to spend the day with my little girl!
