Well I’ll be heading that way bright and early. Sounds like my kinda weekend runnin. Looks like 1350 miles from where I sit. Should get a recap in on Sunday.

    Thanks for the 411 fellas.

I’ll keep ya updated on the menu. Once I get to El Paso then I’m running over to Brownsville. Should be able to find some good Mexican food along the way somewhere ya think?

You’re assuming the moose has jewels to hang.

I’m not sure what your clock is like, Tug. But I made it from Wichita to Tularosa NM in one day (had about ten minutes to spare on driving).

There’s a Mexican joint at the Tularosa Travel Center (Shell? Station I think). If all else fails gotta chat up @sawmill about the taco stand behind the Petro in El Paso...

Sounds good. I’m runnin recap but I’ll be back to 17 hours in the morning. I’m 618 miles to Wichita so that may work out nice for Saturday?

Long haul over to Brownsville on the gulf too.

I’ll warn ya... and you can check your sources... BUT

IF you’re running low on hours outta Santa Rosa you got a stop in Vaughn and that’s...about it till you hit Tularosa. There’s a few small stops 10-20 miles north before Tularosa but it’s pretty bare after Vaughn for two hours or so...

If you’re lucky... you could make Alamogordo? Supposed to be a few motels there with truck parking. I think there’s a Kwik Stop too.
