Have you ever notice that the side effects of the meds seem to be “an increase in suicide and suicidal thoughts in children”?

Good thing they aren't having that in OKC this morning, got freezing rain over here right now.

 

When my son was in 1st or 2nd grade his teacher told us he had "focus" issues, said he needed to be put on medication. We talked to the school counselor and our family doctor because their wasn't any way in h*** I was putting him on medication. Both of them said the exact same thing......he's 6! He's going to have focus issues. He's 13 now, makes mostly A's and an occasional B, hasn't taken a pill one for anything and on top of all that he's a GREAT young man, we don't have any problems out of him at all other than the normal stuff you deal with with a child growing up. When I hear about medications that other kids his age are taking it makes me shake my head.

 

When I was little they said I was to hyper and put me on Ritalin, I took it a day or two and my dad said it made me lethargic and he hated it. He threw it away and I never took it again. I did however get my butt beat regularly.
