Where is everyone #5

Ended up having to reschedule my northbound load to tomorrow. 600+ trucks all trying to get into one gate on the same day.

Gonna be tough to make it home tomorrow now.

 

$90 and 43 minutes later (that includes the time to drive to and from NAPA) my APU is good for the next 1000 hours. I need 1 link taken out of the generator belt but I don't have that nifty little tool in my bag of tricks so I'll have to stop at a Carrier at some point but otherwise Loves, TA and Speedco can all kiss my lower brown eye!

 

I took the hay to the dairy. Nothing but mud and cow ####.

Had another driver call in sick for a 250 mile each way preloaded round trip trailer.

The plan was to just go home for the week after the hay but................

I’m about 1:15 from 8 am delivery then empty back to the house

 

Alright I’m feeling better already....
Just got a call about a load back paying more than the round trip to begin with but I just won’t be home till Wednesday now. It’s enough to make a #### good regular week.

 

@catalinaflyer and @stwik , Saw an SPD truck in OKC on Eastern Ave today. I think it was a black Intl with pinkish? lettering on the door pulling a Connie. I wasn't paying that close of attention till it had already passed by me and I had seen the SPD on the door.

 

We have trucks of every color on the color wheel and just as many unique lettering colors so no telling who it was. We have a few accounts in OKC as well as a couple manufacturers toll cribs.

 

Got empty...

Sat in a line allll afternoon from 1:30pm to 4:15pm with a bunch of dry vans. Only to be told when I got up to the gate. “Uh yeah, we will unload you out in the street.”

Really? “Well it’s only one box.” Yeah. No #### dumb dumb I told you that 3 hours ago!

After your security guard told me to wait in line with everyone else for a dock I was never gonna bump, seriously?

I got the bills signed and hot tailed it over to Sunline...



They close at 5pm but I will get loaded. At some point. Apparently...

Plan is just to head back to Pearsall tonight.

 

Well the Dozer gods smiled on me today and My machine was ready. Loaded and spending the night at the scale just east of Des Moines
