I have a crock pot as well. That's what I use on days I'm running long miles or late or both.

I have been thinking about the micro, but all jokes aside running localish or your laps I don't know if I would stop to use it. I dashboard dine and roll. But I guess somedays it could help. I try to use every documented hour for work.

Ever since they changed their chicken seasoning I haven’t been back. I used to love eating there.

You are correct, you can make decent stuff. I just learned not long ago to make scrambled eggs in a coffee cup. Turns out great. Now my own mother never had a Nukebox as she called it till about 2002. She would tell you its made in a oven or served cold.

I have a microwave and a coffee pot. Truth is I don't use them often. However, when you have one handy, you wonder how you managed without. The wave opens up a lot of healthier food options. Also, lots of places I park where a hot meal or coffee makes it a lot less crappy to be there. A 6 cup coffee pot takes about the same time to brew as a dog walk or pre trip.

Yeah I dont have a micro or anything to cook in. Fridge space is limited so I usually keep drinks in it. I dont eat at a sit down place often because as stated I like to keep rolling only stopping to fuel and take a leak or refill on drinks or dip or what have you. Sometimes grab something small to eat when I get up sometimes I dont eat till time for a break which I usually will grab actual food and then dinner time is usually another something small. Occasionally just want a sit down meal that's not fast food and I've learned that's harder to find. Favorite place of all to stop at is Daybreakers in Yuma. I never get to go there anymore because I dont run produce on that line or produce period for that matter any more.

The names on their menu are just plain ridiculous.

I heard a guy walk in there and order a John cock stand. WTF is a cock stand I asked the girl behind the counter and we laugh for a good 5 minutes. She said the guy said it wrong.....but still

See I’m the opposite. I like short hauls cuz I get out of the truck a lot. Keeps me awake and keeps my rear end from hurting.

You get me on one of them drive-all-day loads and I ain’t happy. Lol.

I saw one today as well. I loaded in Tulsa and ran 412 west. Somewhere out around Morrison I passed him, he was westbound also. Nice enough to flash his lights at me to come back over. Dark blue Pro Star with an aluminum step. Just had a couple of what looked like wooden pallets with a couple of small stands on top. Not sure what it was for.
