Picked it up at the local Napa store....go figure ! Also seen it at Tractor Supply. Have one in my tool box at shop and in truck.

 

Well, she has anger issues. Yesterday she threw a glass jar of meat sticks and broke it. Today she chunked her pacifier at me out of anger when I cut off the Halloween candy supply. She is just like her mama.

 

Really? Don’t make much difference tonight as I’m eating in the truck.

But I’ll save that little nugget for next time.

 

Any hand cream made with tea tree oil works very well on extremely dry skin.

My wife buys from a company out of Winnipeg, all sorts of products, locally made with natural (not "organic" ingredients), including a hand cream they developed for Manitoba Hydro workers up north. Made with tea tree oil and it's the best moisturizer I've ever used.

 

Yes it's very good stuff. They have it in a squeezable container also. I use it all the time .

 

When my daughter was about that size, she was extremely stubborn. (Well, she's 16 now and not much has changed!)

She had a rocking horse which she used as a climbing tool to get into places she didn't need to be. After the 3rd or so time of me catching her trying to maim herself in that fashion, I said "If I catch you doing that again, the rocking horse is going to disappear, forever". About a week later I caught her perched very precariously on the kitchen counter of the apartment we were in at the time. She was trying to drag some kind of glass cookware out of a cabinet for some nefarious reason. Drug her little fanny off of that counter, put her down, and picked up the rocking horse.

"Take a good look at this rocking horse, it's the last time you're ever going to see it"

Boy was she upset. Stuck to my guns and that thing went bye bye.

Well today was one of those days...

Didn’t hear from dispatch until 10am about what the deal is getting a load outta Laredo. We made the executive decision to bounce me to Dallas/Fort Worth and hope for a load tomorrow...

Well, round 2pm I get the word I’ll be taking some power generators back to my favorite state...California. Believe one is a big 20k one and the other two are on trailers... Bakersfield for the big guy and the two trailers are bound for Martinez by San Fran... both need to be off by next Wednesday but let’s shoot for Monday?

I got 9 hours or so tomorrow... probably will call it a night round Shooters neck of the woods. We will see though. Depends how I wanna run my clock here...

Thinking reset this weekend in California. Was planning on doing it in Needles but may push it to the J in Bakersfield area... haven’t decided.



Flat top Pete kept me sane coming up the 281 today... we got passed by a bunch of fellas going to some plant. They thought we were going as well...

“Sorry boys, looks like we’re gonna be ahead of ya in line.”

Without missing a beat that Pete had me rolling in laughter,

“I ain’t hauling that cheap ####, cmon over tough stuff. Also, Doubt International back there is hauling that #### on a stepdeck...”

Ending up shooting the crap with him till I needed to take a break... nice n easy 150 miles behind someone that knows how to drive. Thank the gods.
