And be ready for him to be mad at you for his birthday when he gets older!!! Lol! My brother's birthday is 12/20 and he used to gripe when we were younger because it was so close to Christmas he didn't get a proper birthday!!

 

I always felt sorry for the kids that had birthdays so close to Christmas when I was a kid, just for that reason.

Course my birthday is right next to Halloween. Fitting, I reckon.

Find the direct gear in the brownie, start in 1 on the main (assuming the gear ratios are similar to what a modern 13 would have), go to 5, then while going back to 1 on the main, you switch to the next higher gear on the brownie. The brownie is just essentially a range and splitter valve in it's own box.

The transmission manufacturers need to create a modern, high-torque twin stick setup for enthusiasts. I'd guarantee there would be a market for us young guns who yearn for the "good old days".
