That’s a goofy pattern. Why would 5 be on that side instead of over north of reverse?

Mississippi State has a wildlife management program on campus. They have some monsters like this inside small fenced in compound studying diet vs genetics, I’ve even got a picture of a deer like that eating acorns from my hand.
Some idiot killed a low 20 point with a bow and took it to have it dressed and mounted. (As if the university wouldn’t put the word out on a trophy deer killed) He was arrested, truck seized, hunting license revoked, big fines too. Some people lack common sense.Crusader66, Feedman, BigBob410 and 17 others Thank this. -
Always nice to see poachers caught. I personally don't think some of the punishments are enough, to some of the poachers the reward is worth the risk, IMO.

The Van and Reefer guys have lumpers, you need a gate ######.
Never be the last person of 3 or 4 to get in a single cab pickup on a farm or ranch!

Man that's crazy, I'm just southeast of you a couple of hours at the Oklahoma Kansas border in Bartlesville and it's 47 degrees and clear skies and the wind still isn't that bad yet.

Not quite right @Zeviander , the brownie is a gear splitter, not a range splitter. And for the sake of this discussion, we'll say that the brownie is progressive, meaning relatively equal splits between gears. Some have a "double deep " low hole that isn't typically used during normal driving, but usually they are: 1=double under, 2=under, 3=direct, and 4=over. Some brownies are just 3 speed brownies i.e. under, direct, and over.
Next you need to realize that there is usually overlap, and unlike an 18 one cannot go from 1st and 1st up through all 5th and 4th and gain speed in each combination. For example 5th (over) in the main and 3rd (direct ) in the brownie usually results in being nearly identical to 4th (direct) in the main and 4th (over) in the brownie. When running at highway speeds some guys used to run in direct and over for awhile, and then switch to over and direct for awhile in order to keep from heating one box (overdrive produces more heat than direct). Essentially though you split each gear in the main with the brownie.
More to come.Last edited: Nov 25, 2018

We're in the 3-6" snowfall range. 7 miles north of town (next row of counties), are in the 5-10" range.
