    You can do that with a Freightliner automatic, the shifter is right there on the column:D

    They just closed I-70 from Salina, Ks west to Wakeeny, Ks. They're talking about closing it further east.

    Since this is the most active thread, I hope no one minds if I ask - how much clearance should I leave between my rack and the back of cab/cab shock bolts ends? Is an inch enough?

    I already realized my mistake in having the ratchets on the back side...

    Are the ratchet straps for securing something like tarps on the top of your rack?

    With the exception of the ratchets I believe that you could have gone quite a bit closer to the back of the cab, at least if your headache rack is narrower than the side fairings.

    Make sure you clear the grab handles on the back of the sleeper too. 2 inches, and you should never have a problem. I'm not for sure, I didn't measure mine, but it does sit pretty close to the back of the sleeper. Nice headache rack, BTW.
