2 bowls of homemade chili for breakfast this morning. Two more at lunch just now. If I can get 2 more at dinner tonight, it will be the chili trifecta today. Good thing my wife really likes me!!

I thought watching Doc do back flips for deviled eggs was neat not to long ago. I regretted that for days

 

Well Ribcrib is in walking distance so I think that means I'll be shoveling ribs down tonight...

Gonna be interesting delivering to hog farms tomorrow... hope it isn't too muddy after the weekends rain.

 

Picking up a HOT load in Illinois for delivery in Michigan in the morning.
The "keep truckin ELD" back office server has been down all day today so we still have 3 drivers on paper! Lol mine has been working fine for like 6 weeks now though.

 

Just another day in the life of a driver
When he’s driven safely and proved he’s a survivor
To deliver freight everywhere
Sometimes here sometimes there
In rain, snow, hail and heat
He’s heard some language from shippers he can’t repeat,
He plods on doing his best

After all i am trained to be
Just what exactly the company wants of me
Its so frustrating you’ll have to know
When I can’t possibly chain up in the snow
So I drive another 600 miles at best.
When I could of done 680 or 700 like the rest
As I’m slowly starting to learn
Large amounts of money are so hard to earn
When its so hard and I need some kind of lift
It’s when reality quickly comes back to me that I work for Swift.

 

And here we go...

 

Well yesterday was my birthday so we went to town on bought new rocks for mama's ears.

Yeah I'm still trying to figure that one out.

Went and had my eyes checked today.... Still blind. Ordered glasses....Haven't had a new pair since I was eighteen. I've wore contacts since I was twelve so never really had a need for glasses.

Came home to change a tire on the trailer... Ended up changing two breaks and a wheel seal. Ready to roll out in the morning. They put in a new scale system in at the plant so I'm expecting a headache in the morning.
