Freezing rain here in Williston. Im unloaded, I have nowhere to be. Too many idiots on the road, so I'll just stay here!

This was crossing Bayou Canot in Alabama.... place where the Sunset Limited Amtrak wrecked.

 

Can't lift the hirail until you get to a crossing.... I've went 11 miles between crossings in Mississippi into Louisiana.

I could click along at 55 mph in an emergency if it's dry. If it's raining...??? It takes 200+ ft to stop at 15-20 mph.

 

2500 odd some pound vertical mill in a box....

At Bravo Burgers on the 395... gonna play two lane cowboy tomorrow I guess.

 

Yep i got a stack of em from running schlumberger's cement for almost 2 years. Antero at least their crews out in Ohio were 100% johnny by the book but they had a fatality on one of their sites. Completely understandable. Most other companies are pretty laid back as long as you follow the basics , 2 spotters required by most companies and don't do anything stupid to piss off the company man

Not sure how some Americans get by driving in the winter. It was a bit greasy west of Minot, but okay the rest of the time. Near clear pavement with a light dusting of snow and people are doing 30 mph under the speed limit and I'm running maxed out with no issues.

I hate that feeling of "should I be going slower or are people just lacking confidence on the road?"
