George Carlin has the 7 words you can’t use on TV. I’m betting there (TTR) list is much longer?

Love that story. Sad to say there’s not many hands out here these days that’ll help another trucker out like that.

A few years back, driving a company truck, I hit a turkey north of Sweetwater, TX at close to 80 mph.

Came right inside the cab and landed between the shifter and passenger seat. It didn’t kill him, and he wanted out of that truck in a bad way. I rolled the passenger window down and he flew right out. Never saw him again.

Had glass EVERYWHERE, in my teeth, ears, thank the good Lord I had my sunglasses on. Had to throw all my bedding away. Bird poop on back wall of sleeper. It was a trip.

Holy crap!! Literally! Shooter you must be one of the good drivers...most steering wheel holders would wreck over a bee in the truck and you survived a whole turkey!!

That’s the nice thing about hawks and owls is they don’t weigh but a few lbs so they don’t come through. A turkey or buzzard has enough weight to be a big problem.
