Gonna let it dry in the garage til tomorrow (at least) bc it’s about 40° in there, n I figure the paint gonna need a little time yet to dry properly before we orange the nose, black the eyes and buttons, and brown the sticks onto the arms.

Yes, one of the new X15's. In the end I was there about 3 1/2 hours. The Cummins fuel line campaign was the one that took the time, of course when they write the "book" on how long it should take they're using motors on stands not in a truck, between frame rails with steering gear, filters, tires, cab, fenders and everything else in the way. The KW campaign was for a wiring harness on the firewall, took him less than 30 minutes.

My first experience with Whiteford KW in Perrysburg/Toledo and at least today, they were super people to deal with. The lady who made my appointment, the service manager and the tech, all very personable people, willing to joke around a little and be light hearted. Was even able to walk over to the truck and take a quick peek on progress without a shop NAZI chasing me back to the lounge. Tech caught me looking and even struck up a conversation while he was elbow deep in the lemons innards. Not a "usual" shop experience.

I changed windmills and fuel squirter doo dads a week ago. It woke it up and cooled the exhaust off which I was after. Draggin up Black mountain it wouldn't offer to raise the engine temp. But in a hard pull when she's really breathing I got a real faint skip. Governor has to be maxed out just about to hear it.

I personally think it sounds trashy
