Well it took 6 hours to get 2 tires put on at the ta. Only 2 because we bought the truck a few months ago and the rest are good. The rear axle has new tires and the front has about 50% tread left.
Anyways wow. This dude maybe 30 at the most had never done budds before so i pretty much had to be teacher/baby sitter. SMH nice guy tho. He's never seen mack top loads before. I joked witj him that this isn't your avg fleet cascadia. He started laughing.
The TA in Binghamton ny at least doesn't use never sieze. Luckily I had some in the side box. They weren't going back on w/o it. No F'n way. I still tipped the guy 20$

You guys aren't set up to do tire work yourselves @Brettj3876 ? Few hundred bucks worth of bars and such would be worth it to save the time and aggravation of dealing with a truckstop tire shop IMO. You and pops seem to be go-getters, just figured you guys would do stuff like that yourselves

Thanks to everyone for the input, I'll definitely be stopping by a Tractor Supply at some point in the near future. I love the look of those things. Got that safety boot shape but cowboy boot styling. I'm not necessarily looking for a full blown boot of either style (I don't think my giant calves would fit in a traditional cowboy boot) but something that does the best of both worlds.Al. Roper, Feedman, johndeere4020 and 17 others Thank this.
