Good question. I’ve yet to answer it

 

I guess I oughtta report what happened with my little heeler the other night. She was home with mama and I was out doin the truckin thing. Now Pepper's got this low growl when something is amiss. Usually means somebody is at the house or at least she heard something out of the usual. Well she did that around midnight. My wife called me all tore up scared. I was a couple hours away on a Perryton run. She checked outside front and back. Nothing.

I talked her down and she laid back down but Pepper kept at it. After about an hour of walking around the house she finally heard it. Water leaking inside the wall between the hall bathroom and the entryway. Carpet in the closet was soaked. She called me back and I coached her how to turn off the water valve in the back bedroom.

Hadn't been for Pepper, she'd have slept all night and woke up to a flood.

Them cow dogs is somethin else I tell ya.

 

Yer lookin at it wrong. He just didn't want to be blamed for a wet spot on the carpet ! LOL

@wore out I just got caught up on my reading. Info your pard that he dang near had me with tears on my face on Christmas eve. I'm mighty glad he found his way home safely. Merry Christmas to you and yours.
