That’s the reason I’m staying out for 2 weeks (12 days) too.
Good to know I’m doing it for all the right reasons!
I have some silly notion in my head of a gross dollar goal? Not sure it’s actually adding any to the bottom line though?johndeere4020, 1951 ford, Slowpoke KW and 20 others Thank this. -

However it comes apart, it will certainly be dead simple and almost obvious. Once you figure it out LOL. If it were mine, I'd probably use a small hammer to tap a knife blade in that seam and see if it spreads a little and pops out. On the upside, it's already damaged so you're already facing buying two matching new ones anyway. That you can change the lamp in.
And +1000 on heated headlamp bezels. I replaced the 6x4 TruckLite low beams on my truck with the JW Speaker heated ones. Then promptly tried them out. I should have taken a picture when I stopped. They were an oasis of clear bright light and the rest of the front end was 1/2" deep in ice.
I'm not a fan of the excessively complex array of projectors, it's kinda ricey looking IMO and I don't care for that look. If I had a do over I'd probably order the black ones instead of chrome. On the other hand, I can't see them from behind the wheel and they do work great. The beam pattern is softer than the TruckLites, while covering just as good and doing a great job of lighting up all the reflective paint, foglines, and signs within a 1/2 mile. Seemed like they were focused a bit higher than the TruckLites (which were a match for the regular halogen sealed beams), confirmed by several high beam "thank yous" on my last trip. Some of that could have been a little glare from the calcium splattered on the bezels, but I turned the top adjuster screws out a couple turns anyway and will see how that works out next time it gets dark on me.
Edit to add: These new ones fit the retaining frames better. The TruckLite lamps I took out were actually recessed a little, creating a gap that would help them collect more ice and make it even more difficult to clear. These new ones fit tight and the bezel actually sticks out about 1/2" in a curved shape that seems to help shed the crap off as it melts.
