3406A,B,C,E......what's the difference and what's a no go

 

In my, younger years I went to Conklin elementary. Ms Eagan was at that school.

Went to susquehanna Valley high school also. All are on Rt 7.

Dont miss shoveling snow every day of the week back in my youth.

I'll visit every once in a while, my father and grandparents are out in Windsor buried.

@ShooterK2 , I don't have a speedo. Got a tach and all other gauges.

 

3406A came in a pre-combustion chamber and later direct injection.

B model started out as water jacket after cooled @ up to 400 hp, then went to 425 when the ATAAC came out (air to air after cooling).

C model mechanical was basically the best of the B models plus wider journals I think.

C model PEEC was the initial attempt at an electronic injection engine.

Were it me, and given the choices you have indicated, I would try to stick with a B model or C mechanical.

Edit: I didn't see that you listed an E model before. Many say that the E model is the best of all Cat engines, and it is electronic injection.
