Hell no.

Dropped the truck off last Friday. Been in a hotel since. Company claims shop ordered an SCR yesterday -- alright cool -- I come down today and the service desk knows nothing about an SCR and claims the truck still needs more troubleshooting. Alright, I go out to the truck to change out my dirty clothes and such, pop the door open and I hear the LVR alarm going off -- my guess is the genius techs haven't touched the truck since Friday and never disconnected the batteries.

Trying to figure out my next move right now. They have no idea when they will get to my truck and with them still not knowing what's wrong with it... I could be here another week. Probably gonna rent a car and take the 800 mile journey home sometime tomorrow.

I already sat here last weekend. Don't plan on missing out on New Years away from the misses with a broken truck.

Finishing some small maintenance issues today.

 

Just got done wiring up a Xmas present that is going on the bottom of my bumper.

 

I had a fuel solenoid go bad on an ISX one time. I'd cut the key off, get out, shut the door, and be inside the shop before the truck would die.

 

I miss the good ole days when you just pulled a cable to kill yer engine ! But that's the old fart in me coming out !!

 

Yes sir. So much simpler and it never failed.
