It’s a 20 year old Freightshaker... you’re giving it too much credit.

He should pay ME 75k to buy it.

I bet that thing rattles from every which corner...

If you are running flats on hills, you'll want a little more, but ECM tuning on CAT's is fairly easy and cheap. Those long legs were put on there to pull light vans for sure, at that power level. If you put it up over 500, you could have a left-lane cruiser, lol.

550/1850 will drink much more fuel (probably as much as a 1 mpg difference from 475) but you'll get to the top of the hills a lot faster. People sell the ACERT's short a lot of the time, but they are really solid when taken care of.

I was talking about more about the fact that those ladies basically say “lol screw you son” to the calf and before ya know that boy is on his own....

    Talk about tough love.

    Suppose that actually makes sense...

Many of those sites or reporters have nothing to lose and very little to gain by pushing American news with a slant. The angle should be very objective and shocks fact based.

News is a big business in America, no doubt.

    Ok....I'll state the obvious.....

What exactly do you think your gonna find out with a oil analysis on a fresh oil change?

I want to help you and want to see you succeed. ......what I would suggest is you read...and read...and read. You say you have a mechanical background... ..there is some really good information in the garage section but you have to develop the ability to filter out the garbage. There is alot of good information in there....alot from people in this thread. Buried deep in the garage is alot of good conversations we had years ago. It's hard to find but the info is still there. Kurt and Greg taught alot more people about cat then any textbook or school you will find. It's all there for the taking if you read and filter.....:hint: filter Lenny....
