Because I don’t have any stories... I’ll let this ###### SR pilot tell a little story for you gentlemen.

Maybe @Bear135 or @catalinaflyer is familiar with it? Urban legend? Urban myth?

I’d imagine Wore or one of you other rascals has a trucking variant...

    Y’all have a good night now :)

    Wrap

It is. If I get it tight enough to take them out it’s tremendously hard to get it closed. Not sure the reason the top is looser than the bottom, being that the forward connection and rearward connection sustain total tautness up and downward through the length of the curtain.

Is it loaded in the picture? Ours is tight when empty but when the bow comes out it gets a little floppy. Not sure there’s much you can do about losing the arch?

Loaded, bout 25k on the deck. Trailer is good for 65k in 4’. Doesn’t seem to make much difference in tautness honestly. If I can get it tight enough to just barely close the latches: the top is more wrinkly.

For me they work good. When I haul over length steel I like everything mounted below the trailer deck level so no steel can get caught in them
