In the wrecker days all are times were documented. On scene and Rolling. Part was billing and accountability. That way everyone know if you were missing. Anyhow everytime another co. hand stopped it took longer. If someone from another co. stopped it took way longer. Then I was asked why my times were so short. I said its a system. Now there were the big PIA you get that once and awhile. But learn your job, learn from your job. Plan for the worst and know the tools and location. I had a system and moved like a machine most of the time. So why do you do that I'm asked? Well its 80 mph 3 lanes of crappy drivers, every second I spend out here is more exposure. Get a job, do the job and move on to the next. Had a agrement with the owner, Im here to make you money and all I want is paid well and on time. I treat my own business the same.

I’ve had a 5s then a 6. Both were good phones. A month or so ago when I got this 10 I have now I seen they still had some of the older ones I think back to the 5. I didn’t pay any attention but they should be fairly cheap now at least compared to the latest greatest.

Happy Birthday JPM.
Shogun, that list of Dispatch excuses was brilliant.
There are several other folks who's posts I also got a lot of enjoyment from today, and many other days too, and I'd just like to say that I appreciate every person who contributes here even if you seldom get singled out for recognition.
Thanks y'all.Feedman, 1951 ford, jamespmack and 19 others Thank this. -
I've been meaning to get a picture of this truck escape ramp for a while now, and finally got a chance to get a picture today.
It is a series of cables that will yield after a point. There are about 10 sets of them.
I have only seen them used once, or rather the aftermath after the truck was extricated. Pretty hard on a truck, and the cable nets must be replaced, but far better than having to cross traffic the way the old one was, and definitely safer for the driver.whoopNride, Shock Therapy, Feedman and 27 others Thank this. -

I got a 5se, supposed to be same guts as the 6, but small like the 4 and if still available, cheap. I bought a Galaxy tab to use for an ELD, and I'm lost with it. I like PC's, but I've had nothing but iphones the last 9 years, so I'm trained on IOS for touchscreen stuff lol. So far, not impressed with the whole android thing.Slowpoke KW, 1951 ford, SAR and 9 others Thank this.
