Those and fake filters have added alot to some people's rate per mile....unfortunately I've known alot of people with bad habits.... Some have never grown-up. ....

Searching my memory bank...…..seems like I have seen a W900 years ago that had four working stacks. Somehow they had put a y in each side, had the normal upright stacks as well as weed burners that ran along the bottom outside of the fuel tanks. All straights. It was kinda cool looking as I recall. Must have been a Northern truck. Done to help keep the fuel warm in the winter!

The above is correct with the exception that the spread info is for tridem only and I have not seen a 8 ft tridem but 9 ft is restricted and 12 ft is the max allowed.
In western Canada tandem spreads over 72" are not allowed without a permit and are not allowed more than 9100kg(20,000lbs)
Tandems under 72" in the west are allowed and on "primary" or RTAC roads are allowed 17,000kg (37,478lbs) and lift axles must be automatically deployed.
Tridem trailers are allowed up to 24,000kg(52,910lbs) depending on the spread and road limits in each jurisdiction(Province)
Lift axles on tractors are not allowed to be used. Only tri-drive tractors are allowed.
The Regs are more liberal east of the Ontario/ Manitoba line but I have not got any recent experience there and will bow to those drivers from the "center of the universe"
