Or your wife does the Click list with kroger, you order from your phone amd they bring it out to your car. How mad she was when she got home and had 1 bannana in a bag! just putting it out there. There is a reason there has never been a female president.

Summer of 1990 I was working in the brick plant for a summer job and got laid-off about July. They were stock-piling clay and needed someone in the scalehouse so I took that job....it was an outfit out of Linn, MO hauling and they would weigh themselves the first round about 3am and it was always around 120k-130k#, tandem dump truck and pup. Rest of the day they kept it around 100k#. Fast forward a couple months when I went back to school and dad said the HP noticed they were coming into the plant on county roads instead of the highway and rounded them all up and dragged them off to the MFA elevator to be weighed. I don't recall what they fines were but they ended up firing the loader operator and each driver paid for his own ticket.

I’m guessing your wife is a lot like mine. I’ve learned to NEVER give her a time I’m gonna be home. Fact is I don’t even tell her I’m comin home till I’m at least halfway there and pretty dang sure there’s no chance of gettin turned around for another load.

Much better to surprise her than let her down.

So funny story. Dating the wife and I came over to her house after work. She made dinner. I walk in the door she asks "what does that smell like". I reply a new oven that being used for the first time! Alex that was not the answer she was looking for.

Wife? Don't have one of those, went to the store today with a list as provided to me by my digital wife, Alexa. She scolded me when I got home, I forgot to check the list and now I get to go do the "people" thing again in the morning.

On a serious note though, my former significant other in Washington would write out a whole list, come home with a trunk clear full and NOTHING from the list. She always "forgot it" in the car. I'd just shake my head (silently) as I helped carry in the junk food.
