I always thought the blue/purple anti glare lights looked cool in the windshield back in the day. Never had any myself so I can’t say if they work or not.
You better not be chrome shopping at Tonkawa without announcing your presence in my neck of the woods.....

I wouldn’t want a fleet. All the handholding required for a driver to do his freakin’ job...
Trucking doesn’t pay enough money for me to hold hands with an adult male. -
Do I need a permit for a 6 foot overhang on a 48 flat in Arkansas, Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, or California? Not over weight, width, or height.
cke, 1951 ford, jamespmack and 4 others Thank this. -
I agree.
Unfortunately it's not always the Drivers.
Dispatch has at least half of the share of the blame for most problems due to lack of communication. I'm not talking about normal things that are solved everyday in the course of the usual business.
Example : just finished a real honest to goodness ten hour break and Dispatch gives me a freaking stupid load that could ONLY be delivered in time tomorrow if I immediately took a Second ten hour break and then got up and ran like the devil to barely make the deadline. Without bringing the ONLY solution up in the brief phone call.
What kind of idiotic thought process is that ?
At least mention it !
There are other examples of course. -
Any guesses on the number of holes that passenger side front is gonna give me in 500 miles?
Whole tarp looks like donkey....
But hey I’m just a stupid OTR driver I don’t know nothing -
