    Dang it.....now I'm thirsty....

My truck has been running for over a week and I haven't drove since Wednesday. Just had to go put some alcohol in it. The air was froze up.

Ordered some lp for the shop....we're on vapor cougar.

Sitting back at the bar watching the news and playing fetch with the pup. I don't think this eye is ever gonna heal up and I can't do much with how it is.

    Looks good!! @Hurst

Trying to enjoy my 10 days off. Went over to the parents home for dinner last night -- my mother bought herself a new car. Lease actually. Chevrolet Cruze... and they offered my old man a deal on a SS 1LE so their driveway looks like a Chevrolet dealership right now.... was impressed with the 1LE but #### I couldn't see out of it to save my life.

With all the new cars in the family wondering if it's time to sell my Ranger and get something fun o_O

20180102_162758.jpg Got a large car filling up my shop today. Wouldn't start where he had it parked. Took my gen and torpedo heater plus batt charger. Fired up two hrs later. And what does he do?.......goes to the dang truck wash. So letting it thaw out in my shop while he tries to fix a busted coolant hose on his genset!!

6 hours to get it running good enough to get it in the shop. Still not road worthy. Shop is set at 55 deg so should fire right up in the morning. IMG_3163.JPG

I feel cold just looking at that poor thing. (Shivers)

I've done it,.. never liked it. Its nice to finally be in a position where I dont have to.

This was last year up in PA.

And this was 2 yrs ago in Montana,.. the wonderful state that I honestly dont believe they own a single snow plow.

The load was just some counter weights and a boom jig. Problem was it was going over here to Williston. They were having 30mph wind gusts with -60f windchills. Took me almost an hour to undo and roll up 5 straps and put away 4 chains and binders. I could only stand to be outside for maybe 5 - 6 mins beating on the straps so I could roll them back up. Then I would just back in the truck and hug the heater for 10 mins or until I could feel my ears and nose again. The guys there were all huddled up in that shack with 2 of those kerosene jet heaters going at full blast. They,.. oh no hurry. Take all the time you need LOL And then get this,.. my nose runs like a faucet when I get out in weather like that. So I've got a mustache full of frozen snot,.. it was so cold I couldnt feel the difference until I was finally in the truck long enough for it to start melting,.. and at first I didnt realize what it was,.. I was like WTF? Salty? Eeeeew. None of them said anything,.. its like hey dude,.. um,.. you might want to wipe your nose before it freezes. LOL

Williston,.. actual real temp was -9. Feels like with windchill was -62. That was the coldest I have ever been.

So trust me when I say mad respect to you guys out there. I know what its like.
