I found that if you hold up a clipboard with that states permit on top as you roll across the scale and watch the lights that you will get the green more times than red or pull around back.

 

wrong color cap! the blaze orange cap is only used if out of the yard with the long gun.

 

Thanks partner. After x-rays, she’s having all 4 wisdom teeth plus 2 second molars removed. Definitely gonna be sore for a while.

 

Most state permits are two, three or more pages if you include the provisions pages. Some states no longer fax the provisions pages but expect you to obtain them from their website. I read each permit completely and sign the bottom of all pages to ensure that the DOT has nothing to come back on. Some states have a signature line on it and the permit is not valid without the operators signature. After being read the riot act at a POE scale once I sign all permits.
