Where is everyone #5

If it's anything like the rest areas and truck stops here in Michigan tonight you can have all of them because chances would be good your the only one there. Never seen anything like it. Traffic is horrendous but there's no trucks. Pulled into Loves for fuel, there were 3 trucks on the lot and I was the only truck anywhere near the fuel island. Not a single track suit Volvo parked in the pumps taking a shower or mega taking a 30. I thought maybe I went through a wormhole crossing the Blue Water and was in an alternate universe. Well, I got to 94 and, nope, every jackwad in a 4 wheeler off to gammy and gampys is out here and making sure the highway crash fatality statistics are up to par for the season. I grabbed the next rest area and threw up the white flag. They can have the highway tonight!!

 

I absolutely love sushi especially sashimi.

Tonight's dinner porn, bacon wrapped chicken breast and some broccoli with, you guessed it, bacon. Nothing fancy but a good meal for less than $1.50. On another note, had my sights on Morris, IL tonight however once I hit 94 the chance of being taken out by some 4 wheeler felt pretty good. Full Moon, holiday travelers, yeah, that's a big NO!


I have a date with a smokin hot driver in Des Moines tomorrow night and I'm not going to miss that because some jackwad in a 4 wheeler needed to cut it too close whipping over in front of me or some other nonsense.

 

Trying to catch up but it’s up here also!

 

Drink of choice tonight is New Castle Brown Ale... it got me with the smell but the taste is unfortunately average.

Also...

I don't know how you haven't known by now... Moose... but everything south of I-4 is essentially "the Nor'east." Just about everyone down here is a transplant. There is zero "culture" and many towns are nothing more than homes and strip malls littered with stores that you can find in the rest of the country. Florida is one big shopping mall from coast to coast... Trying to find a bar down here that serves microbrews with a decent unique menu? HA! Enjoy your Fish N Chips at Hooters.

Florida is a wet dream for some. I don't get it.
