Do not go to a 36" sleeper unless you intend to not use it much at all.

I had a deal struck for a flat top for my other truck but he ended up giving to the guy that took it off for him which is the same guy that built the lift axle for my truck. I could of had it but he wanted my stand-up on trade even over but I didn't want to let it go. He made a deer stand out of it.

He still has my lift axle I dropped of in April to have it rebuilt. It was a one off test model. He's not returning my phone calls so I guess I'm gonna have to pay him a visit. I already have a buyer for the axle.

I would trade my 70" for a 48" Peterbilt bunk any day just so long as I got the whole Peterbilt to go with it!

I don't mind mine now that I've stayed in it for awhile. I was always running local till this year.

I do know this other truck is gonna get gutted and I'll build it how I want it. I do know where's there is a condo with lite damage I can get if I want to go that way.

Are you saying 63 high top for a 63 flat top for $3500? What all is involved here?

I think he is talking about making his stand up into a flat top,not swapping them.

We will know when he responds. That is why I wanted a clarification. I think it is too much money either way. It just depends on any "extras".

SAR and 1951 ford Thank this.

Yes sir that's drilling the hucks out of my stand up top. And hucking a new peterbilt flat top on and new head liner. I think you have to at least slide it back to get the front hucks. Though I've never done it so I can't say for sure

It would be tight but maybe a 90 degree air drill would do the trick.
